Laurent-Marc Fischer was elected president of AFEX (French Architects’ Overseas Association).
EPAU 2000
Martin Robain, Rodo Tisnado and Laurent-Marc Fischer, from Architecture-Studio, teach from time to time at Algiers Architecture Polytechnic School (EPAU). An agreement between Architecture-Studio and EPAU was signed in 2000, in the presence of the Minister of Tourism of Algeria. An exchange of experiences has been promoted.
AFEX 1998

APO 1996
Architecture-Studio was co-founder of APO (European Institute of Chief Architects) in 1996. This institution aims at bringing together young architects and engineers. They thus have the opportunity of learning more and conceiving their first project with the help of several stakeholders.
Stimuli 1985
In 1985, Architecture-Studio carried out a study on those abandoned within the city of Paris. The study took into account the whole city of Paris (10 million inhabitants) and not only the city centre (2 million inhabitants).
Syndicat de l'Architecture 1980
Martin Robain, from Architecture-Studio, was co-founder of Syndicat de l’Architecture (the Architects’ Association). Its main purpose is to express cultural claims.
ACIH 1979
In 1979, Martin Robain and Rodo Tisnado, from Architecture-Studio, were co-founders of ACIH (l'Association pour la Consultation Internationale pour l'Aménagement des Halles à Paris). This association was meant to prevent the predictable fiasco related to the development of Les Halles district, located at the heart of Paris. The association presented more than 600 alternative projects designed by architects from all over the world.
Mars76
In 1976, Martin Robain, from Architecture-Studio, was co-founder of Mars 76 (March 1976), a movement aimed at promoting the inhabitants’ participation to the conception of their living environment.
