Amman Rotana Hotel

Towers / Hotels, Shops and Leisure

427-room hotel, including atrium, cafe, restaurants, swimming pool, spa, fitness centre, conference room, ballroom and VIP panoramic lounge. The Amman Rotana Hotel is one of the three tallest towers of the Abdali district, Amman’s new downtown.

This tower is a landmark in the Jordanian capital. It forms a coherent whole together with two planned office towers, while displaying a unique form. The cylindrical volume of this welcoming hotel is built on the Amphitheater square. The tower emerges from a glazed volume whose height harmonises with the surrounding low buildings. Thanks to this transparent volume, views on the new district can be enjoyed from the lounge, the cafe or the restaurants. The panoramic terrace on the sixth floor hosts a swimming pool and lounges in an elegant and refined garden. The tower structure is made up of a central core and an external structural grid, that allow full use of the internal spaces that are free from load-bearing elements. The design of the tower, together with the materials used for the facade curtain wall and sheltered by aluminium slatted canopies, express both the high-tech and environmental nature of the edifice.
